A few months back i got a message from my friend and fellow photog Jon Wohlfert telling me that he was buying up rolls of kodachrome and sending them out to photographers to shoot then send back to him. He would then mail or in one case take the shot rolls of film in person to Kansas to the last photo lab that develops Kodachrome.By the end of 2010 they were no longer going to process the film. I had a roll of Kodachrome i was saving but Jon sent me another roll and i shot both in a matter of weeks then expressed mailed them to him as i had cut things very close to the deadline. Jon is currently developing a documentary about kodachrome. stay tuned and check out the site for the project that includes some photos from other participating photographers.
